Our monthly, "Why The Fuss?" class will explore a different culinary trend, fad, new way of cooking or eating that seems to be taking the world by storm. By taking an objective look at each topic, we'll be able to decide for ourselves whether or not the latest and greatest is really worth our time, calories, and effort!

This month we'll take a look at the specific adaptogen called Ashwagandha. We’ll be joined by Jeff Johnson from Portland Ashwagandha Farm, and Naturopathic Doctor, Antonella Aguilera-Ruiz. Together, Jeff and Antonella will show us what this herb is used for, it’s history in Auryvedic Medicine, and how you can incorporate it into your diet.
