There are few desserts more decadent than pavlova, with its its irresistible layers of crisp meringue, silky smooth cream and bright seasonal fruit. This gorgeous and oh so easy dessert was named after the famous Russian ballerina, Anna Pavlova.
Kir Jensen will teach you how to make the most beautiful show stopper to “WOW” your guests. Pavlova is perfect for any occasion and the possibilities for creativity are endless. Kir will demo how to make lighter than air meringue, that can be utilized for multiple styles of desserts, such as large and small pavlovas, meringue cookies, toasted meringue topping for pies, frosting and filling for cakes.
What to expect:
We will cover meringue techniques, several mousse fillings and creative garnishes.
Students will have a chance to taste a finished pavlova and take home a custom recipe book covering tried and true recipes from this class.
Wine and snacks will be provided.
