Once a month, The Savory will host a day of preservation. This afternoon will be set aside for up to 12 students to preserve the bounty of the season. In each class, we will prepare one pickle, one savory preserve, and one sweet preserve using seasonal produce.
Students will work in small groups and go home with several jars of their creations. This class is ideal for anyone, from beginners to seasoned canners who lack the space to do it at home, or those who just prefer the social aspect of working in the kitchen with good conversation!
