Discovering France: Bretagne!

$90.00
SOLD OUT

Join us for an evening of French food and wine! Each month, we will be hosting a class and dinner focusing on a different city, region, or country in the French speaking world. At each event, we’ll start with a hands-on class where you’ll learn a traditional hors d’oeuvres from the area. Then, we’ll all sit down and enjoy a three course meal, served family style. There will be an option to include wine with your meal, and additional bottles will be available for purchase. A portion of each ticket will go towards supporting students at a local, French Immersion school.

June’s event will focus on Bretagne (or Brittany). France’s northwestern-most region, Bretagne has its own language (Breton), and is famous for its seafood, cider and crêpes!

June menu:

  • Galette (savory crepe)*

  • Salade

  • Moules Frites

  • Far Breton

What to expect:

  • Hors d’oeuvres class* will include instruction, tools, recipes and ingredients.

  • There will be some demo, and some hands-on cooking.

  • Most of the evening will be spent around the table with a three course, family style meal prepared by our chef instructor.

  • Our meal includes seafood gluten and dairy in several dishes. Please contact us BEFORE registering if these items may be an issue.

  • Cider will be available to purchase at the dinner.
