Join Chef Hawnuh Lee for a hands-on how to session on plant-based foundations. This class is 100% vegan (and can be made gluten free upon request) and open to everyone interested in plant-based eating. We’ll cover essential pantry staples, knife skills, seasonal ingredient prep, and learn how to cook a protein-packed meal that you’ll be excited to recreate at home.

What to expect:

  • Class will include all instruction, tools, recipes and ingredients.

  • There will be some demo, and some time for hands-on knife practice.

  • Menu to include: Saucy Tofu Noodles & A Seasonally Inspired Salad

  • Menu will contain peanuts, gluten, and soy. Please contact us BEFORE registering if these items may be an issue.

About our Instructor:

Hawnuh Lee is a Portland plant-based chef focused on low waste, accessible recipes. She runs the vegan recipe site, Closed Loop Cooking, and is always on the hunt for the best local produce. She believes in good-for-you food that you’ll want to share with friends.
