Women's Health Series

Cookshop is very excited to bring you our Women's Health Series with naturopathic doctor Amanda Roe! This talk will focus on pelvic floor basics. The goal of the evening is to educate women about the inner-workings of pelvic floor structure, how/when/why we see changes in our pelvic floor, and how endurance sports impact the pelvic floor and vice versa. Amanda hopes to have an engaged conversation with attendees, not to lecture.

About Amanda:

Amanda Roe is a naturopathic doctor based in Portland, Oregon. Her work jam is women’s endocrine regulation, particularly as it pertains to trail-running & endurance medicine. Amanda believes in the healing power of nature and thus gives every patient a "Nature Rx" as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. Outside work, she hits the trails before sunrise, stays warm in a rainbow terry cloth track suit, and is raising 2 half-Kiwi kids with her Kiwi husband.

Space is limited to 15 attendees. Women only, please.
